A little chatch up

I did a "speed scrap" which means online you get instructions of what is required every 10 min. for example. You need 2-3 pictures. A background paper that is patterned.

A pretty good turn out I would say. It was so fun!

This is Sarah my little water dog! She LOVES he water. She was swimming in the pool yesterday for 3 hrs. And she was shivering and purple. And she was throwing a HUGE fit to stay in the pool.

The lake above is a lake filled with water from the run off so it was FREEZING cold, everyone dared dad to jump in so of course he had to. It was GREAT.

This is them warming up together.

This is the whole clan of kiddies, on the 4th of July. It was great! We did fireworks in our friends yard. It was so fun! I felt like a kid again.

And lastly, I took this picture to show my new favorite way to do her hair. It is just knots.

Also, this girl scared us this week. If you know Brookey, she is always being active, running, swinging, riding bikes/scooters. ALWAYS! Well, she was swinging and I was around the corner getting the mail, and she came running out and fell of the swing backwards. She was pretty hurt, so I told her to go in and lay on the couch. I continued to the mailbox, got the mail turned around and came in the house. She was crying pretty badly, and saying "what happened to me" Come to find out she couldn't remember anything that had happened the last 2 days. So, I promplty called my dr. (so I could get a verbal referral to go to the ER (per my insurance). They readily gave the go ahead. So, we went to the ER, after a CAT scan, we find she has a concussion. So, we get the instructions how to take care of her during this time she remembered all that had happened. Which I am grateful for. Just the 24 hr. "bedrest" was torture, because she wasn't hurting anymore. Oh my! It was a great blessing to know she is ok, and will continue to be ok.

I the next day was EXHAUSTED! because I do not just simply fall back to sleep every wake up to check and make sure Brooke was ok and could wake up. Man, I was dragging. She was asking me every 5 min. it seemed if she was done and can go play outside. I kept saying no, 2 hrs. etc. So, not only tired, but also exhausted mentally.

But, we are glad she is happy and healthy. It is difficult blog in the summer, but just so you know I am still loving the SLURPPEE! There is nothing better!
